Christmas

The Season

Songs of celebration,
Ringing through the air.
We feel a certain presence,
Of a power that is there.
Not just a special feeling,
This comes but once a year.
A beautiful sensation,
Bringing friends and family here.
Again lets raise our hearts,
Call out with our joy.
Singing songs of celebration,
Come now every girl and boy!
There is candy and there’s Santa,
There are presents, oh there's lots!
Don't forget the pageant,
That’s presented by the tots!
See through the eyes of children,
As they open presents, gifts, and more.
Share with them the joy,
Of helping both sick and poor.
Gather friends and family,
At the table for a meal.
Take time to help the homeless,
Their need is very real.
Christmas time is special,
Time for sharing newfound cheer!
No better time to celebrate,
Than with friends and family near!
Sing your carols of praise,
For His holy birth.
Give your gifts of love,
Gold, frankincense, and Mir.
Join your friends and neighbors;
Bring peace on earth to all.
Hear the words of Jesus,
Listen to His call.
