Morning Sunrise

Morning sunrise to my life,
Come to me.
Your freshness throws me
Into a state of awe,
Such as the dawning of my day,
Awakening my senses.
Your presence leaves me speechless,
In pure wonderment of nature.
To behold your captivating eyes,
I drink the essence of your soul
Captured within them,
Like the delicate morning dew,
Nourishment for my mortal soul.
Each day I rise and wait for you
To return and greet me again.
Such a need I cannot describe,
More than food and drink.
I breathe your living essence,
Drink the beauty from your soul,
Eat from your bounty of love.
I will always wait for you,
My being depends upon that fate.
I draw your warmth into my face,
Feeling like nothing I have known.
The spirit in your heart
Joins mine again.
With you, fear and pain fly away,
On the wings of a snow white dove.
So come to me again,
My morning sunrise.
Satiate my hungry, waiting soul.
