Our Moments

A flickering fire is the only light,
In a room dressed for just two.

It provides a warmth against winter’s chill,
Matched only by holding you.

We share a drink, a time, a place,
Along with our blanket wrap.

A touch of hands, a sensual glance,
Desire in both does show.

Soft kisses upon your electric neck,
Hands explore me below.

Time stands still for this lovers’ delight,
The shadows stand to watch.

Face to face, passion in motion,
A sensual dance for just two.

It’s over so soon with satisfied sighs,
Eyes meeting at that moment.

Lying still joined unable to part,
Our glow embarrasses the fire.

Time unmeasured there together,
Whispers and touches go on.

Dawn sneaks in upon faces asleep,
So begins another day.

Outside I see snowflakes are falling,
Millions of haunting ghosts.

Before they can chill my soul today,
My head returns to your breast.

The tear in my eye and heart in my hand,
Both I give to you.
