Soul Twin's Plea
For
each of us there are many soul mates,
But
only one
soul twin.
Fate
does not always bring them to us,
And
we weep.
Knowing
they are there,
Must
somehow be enough.
The
one we need joins not with us,
Leaving
a jagged hole in our heart.
Life's
blood gushes out un-replenished,
Into
the emptiness left inside.
Each
day they are sorely missed,
Like
a lost child, mother or father.
What
is fate's cruel game,
That
we would meet but not be one?
No
matter how we meet our twin,
Souls
join easily as one.
When
one dies we take a part,
Of
our twin's soul with us.
A
part held in our heart,
Till
the day our twin returns.
Why
does God do this,
To
his children He loves so dearly?
It
seems to us, my God,
This
must be our Hell.
