This is a 4 poem series, love is strange. Don't you think?
Love, Why?
Since
the beginning of time, one thing is understood.
No one knows why love acts so strange.
We wouldn’t understand even if we could.
Affairs of the heart have no answer.
Often
love is stolen, lost, or regained.
The real question is only why.
And how to keep love retained.
Affairs of the heart have no answer.
When
love is stolen, we want to know why.
Is it something we did?
We look up with our eyes to the sky.
Then we ask for God’s help too.
Sometimes
after love is lost,
We can’t decide what to do.
Nothing like that is worth the cost.
Permanent decisions are made too soon.
Then
sometimes love is gladly regained.
Our life goes happily on.
We know good luck has been retained.
And we live happily ever after.
His
eyes meet hers, and they both know the way.
Both
will feel the flame by the end of the day.
No
rules apply for in this affair passion leads.
The
interest is the fulfillment of their needs.
Both
of them know the pain they may cause,
And
at their soul guilt sits and gnaws.
Caution
is forgotten; the plan is made.
Satisfy
the urges before they can fade.
They
pass in the hall. A touch is stolen.
As
he leaves, he knows his is swollen.
She
looks back, a glance to tell all.
They
decide to meet at the hotel by the mall.
Both
call home and lie to their spouse.
When
they hang up, they feel like such a louse.
We’ll
tell them one day, both have agreed.
Till
then don’t wait. Satisfy the need.
He
arrives first to pay for the room.
The
back of his mind senses impending doom.
But
he jumps up at the knock on the door.
She
walks in looking like a lovely cheap whore.
His
kiss starts at her ruby red lips.
And
continues down to a place on her hips.
Her
hands hold his as she groans with pleasure.
Then
she kisses his neck in a way he treasures.
No
clothes are left, just two sexed up people.
She
looks at the church and climbs on the steeple.
Both
know how they have breached a
trust.
Their
only excuse is the consuming lust.
Before
it’s done, there is a loud knock.
Neither
hears, both continue to rock.
Then
comes the sound of a key in their door.
They
don’t stop, they can’t hear anymore.
In
walks two people and it’s over in a flash.
No
one was deceived that their actions were brash.
Words
are not needed, in court they are spoken.
Both
have sinned and they are soon broken.
Now
alone, both have too much to regret.
Their
whole life of lust was lost on that bet.
They
lost their self worth in that room by the mall.
And
they weren’t prepared to loose it all.
Love Lost
His
eyes pop open to a savage alarm clock.
His
brain slowly realizes where he is.
Too
soon he sits up in a state of shock.
Has
another day without her begun?
He
was in love. He never saw her faults.
Then
she left him for another love.
Into
his wounds she has poured her salt.
What
did he do to deserve this?
She
was his love. He saw rainbows in her eyes.
But
he won't be seeing rainbows again.
His
mind is filled with whys.
How
could she not love him anymore?
The
house is empty where they used to play.
The
silence is lonely. His son is gone.
Nothing
he did could convince her to stay.
Is
there nothing left for him now?
His
new love is very special, and so kind.
He
wants to love her so much.
But
he can't because she haunts his mind.
How
can he still love her like that?
She
wants to marry, her name is Gail.
He
wants her too, but his love won't come.
He
loves only her, so his love for Gail fails.
Why
can't he love her like she loves him?
He
has loved and lost his very life.
Nothing
is left for him to enjoy.
Love
isn't always forever, that cuts like a knife.
My
God, what can he do now?
When
you give your all and get thrown away.
Life
ends forever, no way to go on.
If
he can't keep her, if she can't stay,
Why
is he living at all?
The
decision is made. He can't face another day,
Of
life without her and his child.
He
has decided there is another way.
Can
there be any other for him?
Goodbye
my love, please don't blame yourself.
He’s
sure she gave them her all.
She
took my love, my life, and my self.
How
could she take it all?
Once
he was in love and Gods angels sang.
He
hopes he’ll be hearing them again.
He
picks up the gun. He won't hear it go BANG!
God,
can you forgive him for what he has done?
He isn’t her
first. She was married before.
To a man she had
left all alone.
She was a good
wife, though she acted a whore.
To this day she
asks herself why.
She is his first,
an unspoiled man.
Falling in love
again was far from her mind.
She asked him to
marry; few thought he would.
Her story was so
well known.
All eyes watched
them start a new life.
Most thought she
would leave again.
For 3 years she
was the perfect wife.
Everyone started
to believe.
Then one day she
told him her plight.
Her love was gone
like before.
She would simply
fade into the night.
He stood crying,
unable to speak.
He kept his
courage and he understood.
If her mind she
might change.
He would take her
back if only she would.
She shared the
tears of his grief.
Soon she knew her
heart had changed.
She felt her love
return.
Their world was
not over, only rearranged.
Now they want to
be alone.
He takes her hand,
gives a soft kiss,
Then whispers
"I'm glad you came back".
She feels the love
she surely would miss.
Oh, how wrong she
had been!
In a moment they
held in a tight embrace.
A way only lovers
can.
Removing their
clothes it looked like a race.
To see themselves
naked again.
Though many years
had passed since her birth.
It was only
perfection he saw.
He held her tight,
for all he was worth.
Their electricity
lit the room.
His hands hold her
breasts.
His lips on her
neck.
He rubs slowly
against her nest.
Passion's fire
burns below.
Gently he lays her
upon the bed.
Kissing down to
her waist.
The flame now
turns their world all red.
No one has ever
loved her this way.
His lips touch
hers waiting down lower,
There is no better
feeling found.
With a tongue so
good, it goes much slower,
Her wet love
flowing strong.
She returns his
fire with a touch and a kiss.
In places he can
not ignore.
All her life she's
wanted a moment like this.
She holds his swollen need.
On her back with
legs spread wide,
She accepts his
advancing thrust.
Her face has
pleasure she can not hide.
He dips deeper
still.
One on one they go
on forever,
Love and passion
fill the room.
Moving like a lust
machine.
Body and soul are
now one.
In the moment when
pleasure peaks,
The smell of sweat
and sex all around.
Climax so good the
mind becomes weak,
Love's wetness now
shared.
All spent, they
lay side by side.
Too tired and weak
to move.
They have love
they can not hide.
They are perfect
for each other.
He rests by her
side with love in his heart.
Her mind races on
and on.
If he knew, he
would rise with a start.
She listens to her
body's song.
All she wants is
to be his wife.
But he has given
her much more.
Her body yells
out, you have a new life.
She cries knowing
it is his.
